Does your business need legal
advice from your own General Counsel? Has the cost of hiring an in-house General Counsel prevented you from going
forward?
.
There is a solution: outside retained General Counsel services.
Mark has years of experience serving business clients as outside retained General Counsel,
assisting with a wide variety of legal and business issues, all on an as-needed basis. No counsel salary; no

Mark has been practicing law in Louisiana since 1986, after graduating from Tulane Law
School in New Orleans. He began his career with a maritime firm before founding his own firm, Hebert &
Myers, where he practiced insurance defense and casualty litigation. He merged his practice into Staines, Eppling
& Myers, where he practiced insurance, corporate and commercial litigation matters and helped the firm expand to multiple
offices in Southeastern Louisiana. Mark was recruited to join a large litigation firm in New Orleans (Galloway, Johnson,
Tompkins, Burr & Smith) and he practiced there handling offshore energy claims, general casualty, and automobile
litigation. He left the firm to bring his practice to St. Tammany Parish, joining the firm of Aubert & Pajares (which
became Pajares & Schexnaydre), leaving that firm in 2009 for a solo law practice combined with his ADR (Alternative Dispute
Resolution) practice - RESOLUTIONS BY MARK A. MYERS PLC.
.
Since re-focusing his professional practice to the field of
Alternative Dispute Resolution (he has been an ADR professional since 1995), Mark now primarily focuses his legal
services in the fields of business and litigation. He serves clients as retained outside General Counsel, providing
advice on a variety of legal and business matters. His clients range from small businesses to multi-national corporations
as well as individuals in need of legal counsel. He also represents clients in litigation and is admitted to practice
in all Louisiana state courts, the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle
and Western Districts of Louisiana.
